I’m a  work at home blogger that has worked on several blogs and enjoy what I do.  I used to work the 9-5 job (actually 5 AM – 5 PM) and hated every day of it. I’ve since made a huge change and worked part time  pursuing a Part-Time career in web design but after reading some great success stories of others that have succeeded in internet marketing and affiliate marketing I then said, what the heck, its worth a shot. If there are any others out there that have had the opportunity to set up a blog or website and see it make a little bit of money and then eventually grow you will probably conclude that it is addicting and when done correctly, can make a good living. This blog is set up for those of you, like myself, enjoy what we do. The reason I call it “TrickMyBlog.com” is we all need tips on this business and when many minds get together we can modify and recreate a blog that is optimized for 2011.

Blogging has become a great way for many that are struggling through this recession to make extra money in their spare time at home. I have found a way to make a great income in just part time hours. What I would like to do is set my own blog up so that it will explain how to do it in very easy to understand and simple language. Blogging is great for stay-at-home moms, unemployed workers, teachers during summertime vacation, students, college students, and anyone else that has a hobby, skill, or interest and can write about it and share their experience with others. It is really very easy. Do you have a hobby or interest in a specific subject that you like to write about and tell others? I’m sure you do..

Now, I bet you are thinking….How do I make any money just typing words and writing articles about something I really enjoy?? Who will actually pay for my articles? First off, we will not be selling articles on our blog although there is another way to make money doing this. What we will be doing is placing ads on our blog from other advertisers and when people come to visit our website and see an ad that grabs their attention then we will get paid for that click. It can be a text ad, banner ad, text link, or even a photo. The way it works is when a person finds your blog post while doing searches in the search engines and clicks ads there is a string of code or a cookie that identifies this ad with your account and “Oila”, when they click you get paid. When this takes place hundreds of times a day, you get a good paycheck each month. I just set up a new blog approx 6 months ago and the first month I rec’d a check from Google for $113.40. The second month yielded $245.11, the third month $286.55, the fourth month $388.91, the fifth month $438.56 and the sixth month is not showing numbers yet for totals but it looks like it will be right around the $500.00 mark. I know that is not much money but get a few blogs running and duplicate this several times and you will do fine. I will also show you how to get free content later in another post. This will allow you to build several blogs that all make money and run ads while you are working on other projects.

The first way you can montize your blog is by placing Google Adsense ads in your blog. Another program is Chitika. I prefer Google although they are very tough on those they suspect for click fraud. Be Careful! I wrote a bunch of articles on this one source of revenue alone and you should look them up and read them. I teach you every trick in the book on not only getting your ad in the right place but getting your blog noticed and found in the search engines.

I can even let it pay for a new car – car payment!

Another area we will spend time on is backlink building. This must be done in order to get your blog or website rank high with search engines. You can have companies do this for you for a fee or take a day and do it yourself and feel good knowing it was done correctly and according to your requirements. There are several websites that are important to have backlinks pointing back to your site. You want to pick high PR sites such as www.facebook.com, www.yahoo.com, www.msn.com, www.craigslist.com, www.twitter.com, www.linkedin.com, etc… You get the picture?

The more popular the site is that links back to you the more popular your site will appear to the SE’s.
